Client Portals, Crew Auth Overhaul & Enterprise Hardening
Feature updates
- Introduced client portals so each accepted estimate creates a branded space where clients can see an overview, estimates, invoices, and project progress.
- Added automatic portal invitation emails so clients get instant access as soon as they sign an estimate.
- Added live preview panels in Settings so you can see how Client and Crew portals will look before publishing changes.
Security improvements
- Upgraded Crew Portal sign-in with stronger PIN protection and support for secure device-based login (such as biometrics on supported devices).
- Moved portal settings from browser storage to secure, server-side storage for improved reliability and control.
- Tightened rate limits on key backend actions to better protect against abusive or automated traffic.
- Enforced more granular roles (Admin, Manager, Member) throughout the app so users only see and change what they should.
- Added an easy-to-use flow for enrolling multi-factor authentication to help teams adopt stronger account protection.
- Introduced automatic session timeouts after periods of inactivity to reduce risk on shared or unattended devices.
- Strengthened server-side checks on user input to reduce the risk of bad or malicious data entering the system.

Security
- Completed a comprehensive external security review and resolved all identified issues across the app.
Fixes
- Cleaned up and simplified how data rules are applied in the database to reduce complexity and make future changes safer.
- Corrected edge-case behavior in how cached data is refreshed to ensure screens always show the latest information.
Performance improvements
- Tuned database queries so dashboards and financial pages load more quickly and consistently.
- Moved more heavy calculations to the server to reduce load times in the browser.
- Added pagination to large lists (Financial, Scheduling, Communications, Pipeline) to keep pages fast even with a lot of data.
- Optimized how large lists are displayed so scrolling remains smooth for big accounts.
- Reduced overall bundle size by trimming unused code and splitting large pieces into smaller chunks, improving initial load time.
- Added error boundaries around key areas of the app so unexpected issues are contained and less likely to disrupt your session.
- Put sensible limits on CSV imports to protect performance and prevent extremely large uploads from slowing down the system.
